GHINES SRL

The new proposal for marble shops launched by Ghines is called "DAIMON”, a portable workstation designed to process a sink cut-out plus finish & polishing wherever the job may be required, in the marble shop as well as directly on site. An extraordinary versatile tool allowing the operator to finalize kitchens and vanity tops directly at the job-site.

Coming from one year long research project, DAIMON achieved the important goal of combining high stability and precision with handy dimension and weight. The frame of DAIMON is fixed directly to the slab-to-be-worked trough a clamping system and steel cords, so that the working surface is the slab itself.

Thanks to its special connection, the spindle can run discs, bits and profiling tools, be they for portable or for CNC machines, allowing a wide range of operations: vertical and inclined cuts, profiling, drilling, shaping, recess drainer, polishing, slots, and edge cutback for sink surface mount.
The special water lubricated spindle assures a constant supply of water, necessary for a good tool lubrication.

The DAIMON works with a template, but not necessarily: the movement on X and Y axis can be adjusted, thus working on a prefixed area.
The powerful single-phase motor with three different rpm speeds allows real flexibility, since it can be plugged wherever a 220V plug is available.

DAIMON is also available in Tile Version, working on top of a water tank instead of a stone slab. This variant has been designed to work in the shop and to operate also as a tile saw, allowing vertical and 45 degrees cuts on tiles, bricks and shelves.
