Degree Thesis Award: ''Landscape, architecture and stone design''

The degree thesis award "Landscape, architecture and stone design", conceived and organised by VeronaFiere in collaboration with the Verona Order of Architects, is part of the cultural activities of the 45th Marmomacc intended to promote a more aware culture of stone among architects, engineers, designers and producers in the natural stone industry.
In particular, the Award aims to contribute to the approach towards stone materials, their knowledge and correct usage, in the formative stage of future professionals by stimulating - through a specific competition involving degree theses - the creation of educational courses focusing on the use of these materials in architecture, landscape and design projects.
The competition is open to Italian Faculties of Architecture, Engineering, Design and equivalent and involves an award, an exhibition and a publication. Entries are invited by new graduates of the above-mentioned faculties after three or five year degree courses.
The regulations will be published on the www.marmomacc.com site in April 2010.
